We built this white pine frame at the Steubenville Workshop's 2024 timber framing course. The crucks are made of walnut that has some really gorgeous sap wood, and because of the addition of the trucks, we had to lay this frame out using scribe rule. The crucks on this frame are a subtle nod to medieval tithe barns.

We were really lucky to have Jordan Finch from Finch Woodworks co-teach this course. He’s a master timber framer, and has built some really crazy stuff - it was a treat to learn under him.
