We built this white pine frame at the Steubenville Workshop's 2024 timber framing course. This frame was laid out using scribe rule, allowing us to incorporate curved walnut braces with beautiful sap wood. Jordan Finch from Finch Woodworks co-taught the course and designed the frame, giving a subtle nod to the crucks in medieval tithe barns with the design of the braces.
