These cabinets were built to create more storage space in a small kitchen. They sit under the kitchen counter in what had originally been intended as the bar-seating area. The only specification for this cabinets was that they should accommodate tall cookbooks and bottles. Ambrosia maple was used for the shelves and sides of the cabinets, and pine backing boards were used for the backs. They are assembled with steel flat cut nails, and will be eventually be stained or painted.
